The drive to Chachagua takes approximately three hours and follows a scenic route through Guanacaste toward Cañas, Tilarán, Lake Arenal, and the La Fortuna area before continuing south to the hotel. La Fortuna Regional Airport (FON), located in El Tanque, is a convenient arrival point for travelers flying to the Arenal region from San José. SANSA operates direct flights from San José to La Fortuna, with a flight time of approximately 30 minutes and schedules that vary by season.

From the La Fortuna area, the drive to Chachagua takes approximately 25 to 35 minutes, depending on your starting point, traffic, and road conditions.
